Product Description

Gemprime Interior Primer

Gemprime Interior Primer is based on acrylic copolymer emulsion and premium pigment/extender combination that ensures more whiteness, hiding and deep penetration/sealing of porous surfaces. Makes the surface less absorbent to the subsequent topcoat. Suitable in interior applications for priming of plastered surfaces and other masonry works.

How To Apply

Application Process

Primer

1. Primer

Apply a coat of Gemprime Interior Primer by thinning with equal volume of water and let it dry.

Putty

2. Putty

Apply a coat of preferred Gem Putty to level the surface and let it dry for 6 - 8 hours. Sand with emery paper 180 and wipe clean.

Primer

3. Primer

Apply second coat of Gemprime Interior Primer and let it dry. Sand with emery paper 320 and wipe clean.

Topcoat

4. Topcoat

Thin a litre of preferred Gem Interior Emulsion with water. Apply 2 - 3 coats of paint with an interval of 3 - 4 hours between successive coats. Dark shades may require additional coat for proper hiding.
